Light
Light and air
Intertwine
Create life
Fear and despair
Snuff out hope
And tighten the noose around your gasping throat
So much time wasted
Begging in vain
A life led in constant searching
Now ends in the cold and the rain
The air grows thinner
Gasping desperately
The flame grows dimmer
Until in darkness I no longer see
Look to the skies above
With your questions and your prayers
Look up above
And find only despair
Look to the skies above
And find only broken hope
Find bitter cold
And an absence of air
Hollow
Empty words
Lying tongues were spoken
Promises broken
Gone
Without a trace
Without any answer
Like the air below the waves and above in the heavens
Once the air would carry me
In a distant dream
Now it abandons me
I spread my wings and crash into the sea
Once the sun shone hope and love
And the sky above
Once the night held mystery
Now it brings only pain and fear to me
Look to the skies above
With your questions and your prayers
Look up above
And find only despair
Look to the skies above
And find only broken hope
Find bitter cold
And an absence of air
Now I beg the stars to fall
The waves to cease
The mountains to crumble
Now I feel only despair
Feel only the cold

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive

Serious aficionado level Prog/Tech Death.
The unique colors they bring to this record are not really heard elsewhere. They have forged their own sound and it’s totally badass. I guess The Faceless could be mentioned for reference of similar styles/tones.
They care for the song craft as much as the tasty Tech and Leads. It really is like everyone is saying....a perfect Metal experience. Salami Dick Death
Utterly indescribable new record from Greek metal band Locust Leaves features corkscrewing tempos, manic vocal shifts & dense arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 6, 2017

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
