I submit myself to darkness
With the promise of catching a glimpse
Of the wonder, the immaculate beauty
Of the face which haunts my dreams
I succumb to the addiction
Thirsting for the sickness she brings
The desire, the unbearable longing
Of her blood coursing through my veins
In this reality I'm am shattered
Here in the light I grow weak
Alone in darkness only then am I alive
Alone with her in the sweet embrace of sleep
I fight my way to dreaming
Reality now feels empty and cold
Below the waves of my mind
I escape into her embrace so sweet
The sea it drags me deeper
But I gave up fighting long ago
I feel no pain, I feel no fear
Just an overwhelming ecstasy
In this reality I am shattered
Here in the light I grow weak
Alone in darkness only then am I alive
Alone with her in the sweet embrace of sleep
I long for darkness
In slumber I escape from it all
I hide my face from reality
The ecstasy of dreams so sweet
Suffocating under the waves, I'm dying slow
Buried inside a dream I'm sinking low
Ever deeper, my lungs burning now dragged below
Cut of from reality, just let me go, free me from this pain
Surface from beneath the waves
To forge a new reality
Where daylight and dreams align
Where our paths and hands intertwine

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive

Serious aficionado level Prog/Tech Death.
The unique colors they bring to this record are not really heard elsewhere. They have forged their own sound and it’s totally badass. I guess The Faceless could be mentioned for reference of similar styles/tones.
They care for the song craft as much as the tasty Tech and Leads. It really is like everyone is saying....a perfect Metal experience. Salami Dick Death
Utterly indescribable new record from Greek metal band Locust Leaves features corkscrewing tempos, manic vocal shifts & dense arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 6, 2017

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
